To encourage all participants to achieve accreditation, we have removed the electronically generated Certificate of Completion from all accredited courses. To support this change, we have increased the number of assessment attempts from two to three. We hope this will enable a greater proportion of your participants in successfully attaining accreditation upon completion of the course.
We have also removed the Certificate of Completion from the eLearning (component 1) of Blended courses. To support this change:
- for instructors who wish to provide Certificated of Completion these are still available for purchase through the MHFA shop, and can be filled in by hand
- for instructors who previously sighted eLearning Certificates of Completion to confirm participants have done their eLearning, there are two alternatives:
- encourage participants to complete eLearning 48 hours prior to component 2 delivery, to ensure that the LMS has synced their results with the Instructor Portal
- ask participants to provide a screenshot showing that they have completed the eLearning.
The exception is that the Blended MHFA for Tertiary Students course still provides a Certificate of Completion, as this is required by some educational institutions.
