As per your Instructor Agreement with Mental Health First Aid® Australia (MHFA™), you may only deliver MHFA courses (face-to-face and online) to participants who currently reside in Australia. MHFA Instructors are not permitted to deliver MHFA training to residents in any other country other than Australia.
Mental Health First Aid Australia has official Licensed Providers in 24 countries that have adapted our courses to suit their local cultural and social contexts. International Licensed Providers and their accredited Instructors are permitted by Mental Health First Aid International to deliver Mental Health First Aid core courses within a specified territory only (generally a single country). This ensures that the fidelity of the MHFA Program is adhered to internationally, is of the highest quality, and is delivered by accredited Instructors to course participants with necessary local and cultural knowledge.
Enquiries from people residing overseas that wish to complete an MHFA course should be directed to our international website www.mhfainternational.
For countries without a licensed provider, Instructors must first speak with an Australia Progream Delivery Specialist and email standard@mhfa.com.au to provide a strong case with detailed client and course information to request for a one-off written exemption from MHFA Australia. At least 6 weeks is needed to assess the exemption request.
