In instances that a participant hasn't submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI), you may need to manually add the participant to the course.
Please note, this should always to be the process when a new participant is required to be added. Editing over an already enrolled participant only changes the name field in the Instructor Portal, but not the backend user account. This means that the actual enrolment & Salesforce user account will still be under who was initially enrolled (through the initial EOI acceptance into a course or being added as a new participant via the “Manage Participants” function).
This can be actioned by following the instructions below:
1. Under the Participant Management drop down tab, go to Manage Participants.
2. Then find the course that you want to add participants to and choose View Participants.
3. Click on Add New Participant
Once participants are added to the course, you can then assign assets to them. In the future, when participants are added to the course using the EOI link, the process will be more efficient.
