Instructors or Instructor Admins must purchase Learner Access Passes from the MHFA Shop before creating courses in the Instructor Portal.
It will form part of the mandatory course requirements to set up a course and enrol a participant, which will now include:
- MHFA Manual
- Learner Access Pass
- eLearning voucher (for Blended courses only)
How the Instructor Portal will apply the Learner Access Pass
The Learner Access Pass will be applied immediately when an Instructor creates a course in the system. The Instructor must have a minimum of 6 participants per course and, therefore, will be required to have 6 Learner Access Passes in their inventory.
During course creation, six passes are reserved and deducted from inventory. If insufficient passes are available, course creation is blocked, and the Instructor will be guided to purchase Learner Access Passes from the MHFA shop.
Once the course is created, the first six participants added to the course will take up the six Learner Access Passes that were used to create the course. Additional participants can only be added to the course if passes are available in inventory.
The system provides user-friendly error messages to guide Instructors through pass allocation issues.
