I am an internal employee of an organisation or deliver training at no charge - does the Learner Access Pass apply to me?
If you deliver MHFA training internally within your organisation or at no cost to participants, your organisation will still need to purchase the Learner Access Pass for each participant enrolled. The Learner Access Pass should be treated in the same way as manuals and eLearning vouchers (if applicable) when planning for MHFA course delivery.
This ensures that all participants receive the same level of support, access to resources, and post-training benefits – regardless of how their course is funded.
Low-income charities and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
For eligible low-income charities, NGOs, and organisations that do not pass on training costs, MHFAI has a subsidy/bursary pathway supported by formal criteria.
This ensures that these organisations can continue to deliver training without creating financial barriers for participants, while maintaining the support systems, reporting, and digital platforms that underpin the program.

Applications will be reviewed and responded to as early as possible. Please note that some of these responses may be in January 2026.
How will training remain accessible to remote or disadvantaged participants who cannot pay the fee?
MHFAI is designing exemption pathways to remove financial barriers for remote, low-income, or disadvantaged communities. This ensures that access to training is not limited by the ability to pay.
The approach enables MHFAI to maintain the systems and support necessary to deliver high-quality courses in any location, ensuring training remains both accessible and sustainable.
Can our organisation undertake the Learner Access Pass process centrally rather than individually by instructors to increase simplicity and efficiency?
Yes, organisations that deliver multiple courses using several instructors can apply for an Instructor Administrator account (coming soon), which allows for central management of access passes, eLearning voucher allocation and course/participant management across the team.
The process for purchasing and allocating Learner Access Passes is straightforward in the system, and comprehensive instructional guides and demonstration videos will be provided ahead of the launch of the Instructor Administrator functionality to ensure a smooth setup.
