Instructors are responsible for purchasing the Learner Access Pass.
Just like manuals or eLearning vouchers, the access pass is an upfront investment in the program’s sustainability. It supports enrolment, platform access, and post-training support, as well as ongoing improvements.
Having this purchased from the start invests in every participant receiving the support and infrastructure they need to complete their training – and continuing their learning beyond the course.
Why must instructors purchase the Learner Access Pass at the start of course creation rather than participants completing their final quiz?
Instructors purchase the access pass at course creation because it funds the essential systems, support, and protections that underpin every MHFA course – long before a learner completes their final quiz.
The investment supports:
- Initial setup and onboarding support
- Access to digital platforms and essential learning resources
- Administrative processing and system integration
- Ongoing improvements to enrolment, delivery systems, and participant experience
These are foundational program costs that cannot depend on whether a participant completes their quiz.
Can the Learner Access Pass be reallocated if a workshop or participant cancels?
Yes. If a participant cancels or does not attend the course, the Learner Access Pass is returned to the Instructor's inventory when the participant is marked as "Did Not Attend" in the Instructor Portal.
If a course is cancelled, the six Learner Access Passes reserved for this course will be returned to the Instructor's inventory. Instructors can cancel courses in the system, provided there are no participants enrolled or marked with an EOI.
Learner Access Passes are returned to Instructors in real time.
